We started this book club in September 2025 as a low-pressure way for moms to connect, unwind, and bond over our shared love of romantasy. Since then, our seasonal meetups have been all about cozy vibes, creativity, and community — no homework required.

Our First Book Club Meet & Greet
We kicked things off at The Barn Door Studio with a casual night to connect about what this club could become, and chose our very first book- Phantasma by Kaylie Smith.

Books & Boos
Our fall meetup was a cozy Halloween-themed night back at The Barn Door Studio. We decorated pumpkins with dried florals, chatted spooky ghost fantasy in a space that felt warm, creative, and relaxed. It was the perfect mix of seasonal fun, hands-on crafting, and bookish conversation.

Plot Twists & Peppermint
We showed up in Christmas jammies at Eat My Sweets Bakery for our festive winter meetup. Whe painted candles, we blushed about Tangled in Tinsel by Trilina Pucci, shared laughs, and enjoyed a sweet escape from the holiday rush.

Lovers & Lattes
We gathered at The Imagination Hive for a Galentine’s Paint & Sip inspired by A Court of Thorns and Roses. We re-created our own versions of Velaris’ night sky, shared strong opinions about the book, and chose our next read: Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros

Tea & Tension
For our spring meetup, we got together for an afternoon of high tea at The Escarpment Tea Room, Fourth Wing chaos, and very strong opinions about fictional men. We played BookTok trivia, sorted ourselves into signets, and let a live this-or-that vote decide our next read. The Wolf King didn't stand a chance...it won before the tea even cooled.
